Love holds the power to heal, to broker peace, and to pick up
the pieces. Love mends and tends to the hopeless
who have surrendered to the darkness of defeat.
BUT Love is what motivated God to give us a second chance
and another second chance. Love is why He never leaves,
never fails, never turns His back.
Love is what God created before He created us.
We are his greatest creation, purposed to do great work.
Love is family, strange, estranged, deranged, and re-arranged.
Love is in sickness and in health, forsaking temptation, excuses,
And misuses. Love is hello and saying goodbye,
Love is that thing that conquers, forgives, overlooks and strives
To look like that love that God designed when he designed us.
